VIOLET TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION
NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
The Violet Township Zoning Commission will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road for the purposes of holding a work session to review the following application:
Case Number ZC-26-1: an application to submit property to the Community Gathering Place Overlay District (CGPOD) filed by Spencer Wolverton, G2 Planning, 720 East Broad Street, Columbus and Drew Miller, Arbor Homes, 6797 North High Street, 238, Worthington; for 44 acres on the north side of Stemen Road, north of Allen Road consisting of: 35± acres (Parcel Number 0360003400) owned by 6940 Stemen Road, LLC c/o H Bert Lindsay, 5880 Scarborough Blvd, Columbus and 9± acres (part of Parcel Number 0360004520), located at 7020 Stemen Road, Pickerington, owned by Austin and Vivien McClain, 7070 Stemen Road. This application requests to apply the CGPOD to this land in order to accommodate an 88-Lot Single Family development.
This application is available for examination from Thursday, February 12, 2026, through Thursday, February 26, 2026, inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.
After the conclusion of this work session, the matter will be submitted to the Violet Township Board of Trustees for its action.
