VIOLET TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice of Public Hearing
The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington to consider the following:
Case VAR-24-24: an application for variance filed by Lola Muhamedieva for property located at 7106 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington. This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3F1-04(B) to allow a fence exceeding six feet in height, which borders a tennis court, to remain as installed.
Case VAR-24-25: an application for variance filed by Lacey Cruit Boyer for property located at 6253 Pickerington Road, Carroll. This application requests variances from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA4-05(A)(2) to allow two detached accessory buildings which exceed the permitted floor area for accessory buildings on a lot greater than one acre, to remain as constructed; and Section 3AA4-05(A)(5)(b) to allow an accessory building to remain where constructed at the side of the home.
Case VAR-24-26: an application for variance filed by Timothy Thurston for property located at 13736 Sudbury Drive, Pickerington, owned by Timothy and Natalie Thurston. This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA4-05(A)(5)(b) to allow a detached accessory building to be placed closer to the home than permitted.
These applications are available for examination from Thursday, November 7, 2024 through Thursday, November 21, 2024 inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.
