VIOLET TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice of Public Hearing

 

The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington to consider the following: 

Case VAR-25-2: an application for variance filed by Eric Campbell, 7433 Hill Road, Canal Winchester for property located at 7417-7433 Hill Road, Canal Winchester, owned by VBCMWC c/o Campbell, LLC, 13840 Leone Court, Pickerington. Pursuant to Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA6-02(D)(1) a variance from CEDA Development Standards Section 1.03 and to allow more than one wall mounted sign and signs not located on designated frontage.

VAR-25-3: an application for variance filed by Ugo Nwoke, 39 E Main Street, Suite 112, New Albany, for property located at 12239 Steeplechase Ave., Pickerington, owned by Obiefule and Sylvia Obumneke. Pursuant to Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3V3-01(E)(1), this application requests a variance from the provisions of Section 3V3-01(C)(9) to allow the construction of a front porch which is to be placed closer to the side property line than permitted in the Bentwood Farms Planned Residential District

VAR-25-4: an application for variance filed by Jovanni McColley for property located at 8869 Creekwood Drive, Canal Winchester, owned by Paul and Jovanni McColley. This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA4-05(A)(5)(b) to allow a detached accessory building to remain where constructed, closer to the rear property line than permitted.

These applications are available for examination from Friday, March 7, 2025 through Thursday, March 20, 2025 inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147. 

The person responsible for giving notice of this public hearing by publication is Kelly Sarko, Violet Township Zoning Inspector.
