VIOLET TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice of Public Hearing

The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, located at 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio to consider the following:

Case Number 29-VA-2019: an application for variance filed by Craig and Courtney Sturtz, P.O. Box 111, Etna, Ohio for property located at 6285 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington owned by New Creations Ministries, P.O. Box 111, Etna, Ohio.  This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3A2-01 to allow the conversion of a detached accessory building into a single-family dwelling unit which contains less than the required first floor area for a home containing two levels.

Case Number 30-VA-2019: an application for variance filed by Timothy Beretich, 12048 Saylor Road for property located at 8911 Shady Woods Street, Canal Winchester, owned by Carl and Christine Togni.  This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3Y2-01 to install a swimming pool closer to the side property line than permitted.

These applications are available for examination from Friday, December 6 through Thursday, December 19, 2019, inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.  The person responsible for giving notice of this public hearing by publication is Kelly Sarko, Violet Township Zoning Inspector.
