VIOLET TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice of Public Hearing

The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices (Theater) located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington to consider the following:

 Case Number 26-VA-2021: an application for variance filed by Laurence R. Tipple, for property located at 6229 Waterloo Road, Canal Winchester, owned by Laurence R. and Carmen R. Tipple, this application requests a variance from Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA405(A)(5)(b) to allow the construction of a detached accessory building at the side of the home.

Case Number 27-VA-2021: an application filed by Anokh and Jami Kondru for property located at 10951 Allen Road, Pickerington.  This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA4-05(A)(5)(b) to allow the construction of a detached accessory building at the side of the home.

Case Number 28-VA-2021: an application for variance filed by Trevor Sloan Construction, 5636 Hollie Street, Lancaster for property located at 11418 Meadowcroft Court, Pickerington owned by Gary and Grace Edwards.  This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3B2-06 to allow the construction of a deck to be placed closer to the rear property line than permitted.

Case Number 29-VA-2021: an application for variance filed by Nathan Williams/American Barbell for property located at 9099 Basil Western Road owned by Williams Realty Group, 9125 Basil Western Road.  Pursuant to Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA6(D)(1) to request a variance from the Violet Township-City of Canal Winchester Cooperative Economic Development Agreement Area (CEDA) Standards Section 1.03(h) to allow a wall mounted sign to exceed that permitted for a non-residential tenant.

The continuation of Case Number 25-VA-2021: an application for variance filed by CESO Inc., 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Suite 400, Columbus, for a 1.455-acre portion of Parcel No. 0360003840, owned by Ricketts Family Investments I Ltd, 50 Hill Road South, Pickerington.  This application requests a variance to allow a piece of property to be split off without having any frontage, to be later joined with a separate property so that an additional portion of Springcreek subdivision can be platted.

These applications are available for examination Thursday, September 2, 2021, through Thursday, September 16, 2021, inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.
