The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 for the purposes of holding public hearings for the following applications:
Case Number 17-VA-2022: an application for variance filed by Exel inc., d/b/a DHL Supply Chain, 360 Westar Blvd., Westerville, Ohio 43082. For property located at 7265 Amanda Northern Road, Canal Winchester, owned by Rhenslalere McKenzie and Rhonda Lu Rostorfer, 431 E Market Street, Baltimore, Ohio. This application requests variances from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3T2-07 to allow the construction of a building used to house the manufacturing, storage or warehousing activities to be erected closer than two hundred and fifty (250) feet to a road side line; a variance from Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3X1-01 to allow the size of automobile parking spaces to be smaller than required; a variance from Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3T2-13 to allow a driveway at the point of entry to be wider than permitted.
Case Number 20-VA-2022: an application for variance filed by Ford & Associates Architects, Inc. 1500 W. 1st Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212 for property located at 9695 Basil Western Road, Canal Winchester (Parcel Numbers 0370211921 and 0370211927) owned by Medvet Associates, LLC, 350 E. Wilson Bridge Road, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Per Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA6-02(A) and 3AA6-02(D), this application requests a variance from the provisions of CEDA Development Standards Section 1.03 to allow more than one wall mounted sign; a variance from the provisions of CEDA Development Standard Section 2.03 to allow parking spaces to be located in front of the building.
These applications available for examination Friday, September 16, through Thursday, September 29, 2022, inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.
