The Violet Township Zoning Commission will continue the public hearing for Case 02-ZC-2023 on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 in order to consider a motion adopted by the Violet Township Zoning Commission which is proposed as an amendment to the Violet Township Zoning Resolution.
This proposed amendment is designated as Violet Township Zoning Amendment Case Number 02-ZC-2023 and would, if adopted as proposed, amend the Violet Township Zoning Resolution as generally summarized:
To establish limited and expanded home occupation designations and requirements thereof in residential districts; enact small solar facility regulations; restrict garage, porch, yard, and similar sales and related activities; create residential and non-residential development standards including but not limited to, vehicle parking and fence restrictions and trash and recycling receptacle requirements; revise regulations governing accessory dwelling uses; specify accessory building floor area calculation; update the application submission and applicability of development standards in the Planned Residential District; renumber and update various sections; and add various definitions.
The text of this proposed amendment is available for examination from Tuesday, October 3, through Tuesday, October 17, 2023, inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147. The person responsible for giving notice of this public hearing by publication is Kelly Sarko, Violet Township Zoning Inspector.
After the conclusion of the public hearing, the matter will be submitted to the Violet Township Board of Trustees for its action.
