VIOLET TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice of Public Hearing

 

The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington to consider the following:

Case VAR-24-10: an application for variance filed by Corie Arnold for property located at 9085 Hialeah Court, Pickerington.  This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3F1-04(A) to allow the placement of a fence, closer to the street than permitted.

Case VAR-24-11: an application for variance filed by Ace Fence & Deck attn Rob Bruno, 400 S. Broad Street, Suite B, Lancaster for property located at 10060 Alliston Drive, Pickerington owned by Ardra and Christopher Zinkon.  This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3F1-04(A) to allow the placement of a fence closer to the street than permitted.

Case VAR-24-12: an application for variance filed by Mary Ellen Broadstone Gaeke, 8456 Cameron Ct, Pickerington for property located at 13812 Bianca Drive, Pickerington.  Pursuant to Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3V3-01(E)(1), this application requests a variance from the provisions of Section 3V3-01(C)(9) to allow the construction of a home that is to be placed closer to the rear property line than permitted in the Violet Meadows Planned Residential District. 

The continuation of Case VAR-24-09: an application for variance filed by Ghassan Suleman, G and M Realty LLC, 5100 Montcroft Drive, Hilliard for property located at 12335 Thoroughbred Drive, Pickerington. Pursuant to Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3V3-01(E)(1), this application requests a variance from the provisions of Section 3V3-01(C)(9) to allow the construction of a deck that is to be placed closer to the rear property line than permitted in the Bentwood Farms Planned Residential District. 

These applications are available for examination from Thursday, June 6, 2024 through Thursday, June 20, 2024 inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.

The person responsible for giving notice of this public hearing by publication is Kelly Sarko, Violet Township Zoning Inspector.
