VIOLET TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice of Public Hearing

The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington to consider the following:

Case VAR-24-13: an application for variance filed by Toby and Carrie Baumgartner for property located at 7190 Amanda Northern Road, Canal Winchester.  This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3A2-02 to allow a lot to be split from the property which would contain less than the required frontage for a lot in the R-1, Single Family Residential District; and a variance from Section 3AA4-05(A)(2) to allow the construction of a detached accessory building with a floor area that will exceed the floor area permitted for an accessory building on a lot greater than one acre.

Case VAR-24-14: an application for variance filed by Ronald and Mary Evans for property located at 7037 Ribault Drive, Pickerington.  Pursuant to Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3V3-01(E)(1), this application requests a variance from the provisions of Section 3V3-01(C)(9) to allow the construction of a deck that is to be placed closer to the rear property line than permitted in the Heron Crossing West Planned District.
